Veselka

For sixty-seven years, customers have crowded into Veselka, a cozy Ukrainian establishment in the East Village, to enjoy pierogies, borscht, stuffed cabbage, goulash, and many other hearty favorites. They’ve grown from a simple food stand into an iconic gathering place without ever leaving its home on the corner of East Ninth Street and Second Avenue. Until now.
