Ends Meat

Ends Meat features cuts from animals raised humanely and responsibly on small family farms in New York and New Jersey. To be fully sustainable, Ends Meat takes the extra effort and care to use all parts of the animal, including whole-animal salumeria and dry cured meats inspired by Italian methods. In addition to their role as a fresh butchery, they also offer farm fresh produce and meals.

ABOUT The Founder(s):
Ends Meat was founded by Head Butcher, John Ratliff, in his apartment in 2011. The operation slowly grew from apartment fridges, to the back of an upholstery shop, to a self-sustaining enterprise. Upon purchasing and butchering his first whole pig, a friend asked “How the hell you gonna make ends meet outta that pig?” and in pun-tastic fashion the challenge was accepted.
